If you are already submitting claims electronically, here are some helpful hints to ensure that your claims are processed quickly and accurately:
- Periodontal treatment (scaling/root planing and osseous surgery) must include the area of the mouth treated (i.e., UL, UR, LL, or LR)
- Offices with multiple locations using the same Tax Identification Number should be assigned a Site Identification Number from their Practice Management System
